You can only be what you can be. It’s never someone else. It’s never something else. Just you, and then more of you. But your possibilities are immeasurable.

Excellence expands to accommodate all those who seek it. There is room for all to be excellent and that’s abundance. When we are deliberate with our choices, our desire is to live in the moment, where we experience the blooming of our creations and the joy of being right where we are.

Remember…

There is a book that I have never read titled, “What you think of me is none of my business.” I have never read it because the title says it all. We tend to be immobilized (or sometimes inspired) by what others think of us. Many use what others think of them as their only guidance. This is dangerous to our well being because good or bad, our self-worth is at the mercy of someone else–it’s out of our control. That is affront to the self. What we do to ourselves we do to others, which lives are you try to control with your thoughts of how they should be lived? We are here to live a life by our own design.

Pass it on to the first person you think about.

Be well.

We have been blessed with the gift of choice and with this gift we determine our life’s journey. Choosing is not an option, for we either choose a thing or we don’t choose a thing, whichever we do is our choice. Are you living your life on purpose? Maslow said this,“If you deliberately plan on being less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you’ll be unhappy for the rest of your life.”

There is  a thing that you do better than anyone else. Find it. Be it. Live it. It’s not about being better than anyone else, it’s about being you.

Pass it on to the first person you think about.

Be well.

In regards to self-love, there is nothing selfish about it at all. It is a foolish person who discriminates with love.

We can love the beggar no less than we love the self; it is in our treatment of the beggar that we find the treatment of ourselves. You see, love is. It has always been; it will always be. We then, are conduits for love not possessors of it. We must let it pass though us, freely, to all. This is not just a nice thing to do, it is critical our existence. When we keep love flowing through us without discrimination, the purity of it cleans the arteries of our being. When we contaminate this love with our discrimination the sediments of  our actions cause a blockage from a divine self. The beggar give us an opportunity to be whole. Who is your beggar today?

Pass it on to the first person you think about.

Sometimes we must unsettle the sediments that make up our history and in the process liberate ourselves from what we are and embrace a self that knows what what we can be. Here is what Steve Jobs said to a group of students in his 2005 commencement address at Stanford University. “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life and don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. Most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.”

Pass it on to the first person that comes to mind.

Be well
